this morning when i went to work it gas was $3.43 a gallon and when i came home it was up to $3.50 a gallon.

Petrol (Gas) has hit $1.52 a litre in Australia. To get some idea what that is worth in your terms, I've done the calculations (gallons per litre and the
exchange rate at 90cents at present). It is the equivalent of US$5.17 a Gallon - fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck, that's expensive! Moral of the story,
there's always someone a little worse off.

I just filled up in downtown San Diego for $3.88, the other stations in the area were all over $4.00.
