Personally, I want an epidural. I'd rather somebody have to tell me that I'm having a contraction than to actually feel it. But then, I'm a big
baby.

I think they were engaged. Like I said, I heard it secondhand but either way, does not sound like they are so happy togetherrrrrrrr anymore.

Yes, that doesn't speak well for birth control pills does it? I know 3 people (well now 4 I guess) who got pregnant while on the pill.
Jo, when she was still pregnant, he did a show here in Nashville and did (as usual) a radio interview on Lightning 100 the day of. He said "fiance" then. Then what I've heard through the grapevine (and by grapevine I mean friends who are in the music business) he's back to, um, "hanging out" with groupies. And I want an epidural too! I don't want to feel it. My cousin had one but it only took on one side. We heard her screaming down the hall. No thanks.

I love that you refer to it as "hanging out" with groupies. Bahaha.

jeneka, so sorry to hear that your first pregnancy was like that. i have to agree with the ginger. i lived on ginger snaps. my second child made me feel sick
for the first 6 weeks but then it was over. all i can say is that it sucks at the time, but if you love being a mom, then it's just something we have to
do. i had bizarre pregnancies with all sorts of weird things that happened. however, i kick ass at delivery. i pushed for my my first child for only 16 minutes
and my second child for 8 minutes. i did not have any drugs like my cousin nessa. sure it hurt but my husband scott was a freaking pro at reading the
contractions monitor and it was helpful to know how long it would be until it was over. there are medications that your doctor could prescribe for nausea,
however i'd try the natural things first. so happy to have you here.

Alright... Somebody is going to have to help me out here!! I have no idea how to post pictures of my son on this thing.
I can't believe my little mention of the Will Hoge concert created such a gossip frenzy. Ladies, ladies! I try to stay out of the personal business as much as I can since I work with the musicians. They are like brothers and sisters to me. But I don't mind hearing the stories from you girls Jovanna, I cannot believe the history of your family of "J's". That is so cute! I love it! My "J" family doesn't have that much history. I do like the name Jude Ryan though. Absolutely adorable. Katie, so sorry to scare you. But be glad you were warned. I know of 3 other people who got pregnant on the pill as well. I don't think it's as reliable as it used to be. ::. Jeneka. .:: |

Yeah, back when I was a teen and took the Pill for like 2 months, the level of estrogen was basically horse meds. This was in the early 80s. More recently,
they've tinkered with the levels in order to reduce the risk of certain cancers and other side effects. I suspect that has taken some of the guarantee out
of it. All I can tell you is, the first-gen, old-time Pill made me an emotional basket-case carrying 15 pounds of water weight. It was like pregnancy gone
wrong. ::: shudder ::: From that point until I got married 7 years later, I used a diaphragm and never had a problem with it.
Marcy, I think it's awesome that we are the kickass natural labor superheroines. With kickass supportive husbands (that is, once the TV gets shut off!!) Love soon, Nessa http://homeness.blogspot.com |

jeneka, i don't ever seem to care about musicians personal life. that's just not true about Will. ha!
there is a married couple at my church. they got pregnant on their HONEYMOON with their first daughter, amanda. ashley, their second, is a day less than a year younger than amanda. get this, she found out that she had a miscarriage IN BETWEEN amanda and ashley! they were BOTH on the pill and using condoms. now that's fertile! here's the really weird thing, she had her period every month throughout both pregnancies. it's extremely rare, but it can happen. i would be miserable!

If I remember right, having periods during pregnancies, or having them resurge during full-term breastfeeding, is definitely a sign of intense fertility. And
my periods came bounding back despite my faithful breastfeeding regimen, every time.
At any rate, your friends have my sympathies! My younger two are 15 months apart and geeeeez, it was challenging at times. Love soon, Nessa http://homeness.blogspot.com |

Damn. I thought one of the cool things about pregnancy was that you didn't have to deal with tampons for 9 months.
Nessa, my aunt took the pill back in the DAY (we're talking 60's and 70's here) and got a massive blood clot and stayed in the hospital for a week. Mom said she almost died. They've definitely improved the pill since then. I just wish I could come off this Yasmin. It finally went generic...but it only went down like $4 for me! It's so expensive but I'm afraid to take anything else since the whole Tri-Sprintec debaucle. I'm pretty sure I could've won the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest while on that shit. I was a bottomless pit and put on 20 lbs.! Plus, it made me retain water and I had cankles! Ugh. I wish I could quit taking it but it's just so much easier knowing EXACTLY when my period will start and not having any cramps.

I HATE whatever I am taking right now. I am taking it because I have ovarian cyst issues (hello mind numbing pain) and it is supposed to stop my ovulation and
therefore stop the pain. But it doesn't. And it sucks. I'm going to get a new prescription pretty soon here because I need something that is actually
going to work for me. It's some cheap shit that I got for free from Planned Parenthood, because Seasonique costs $150 and I am not down with that.
