Yea! I finally joined. I'm Whitney, been an off/on member at L-83 for since 2003 I think. (I go by rivrchild over there, too.) When I finally came over here I recognized all the names and a lightbulb went off, (So this is where all those great people have been all this time! I must have been away from the boards when all the shit went down) I'll probably lurk here for a while so don't mind me. Mainly I'm just looking forward to being able to say curse words in my posts without thinking twice. Just kidding. This sounds like a fun place, and I've missed some of those people I used to see on Local-83 all the time.

^ No, he didn't apparently. Very disappointing. I have the songs on my ipod and everything and now it all feels tarnished. John Waters didn't give him the chance and if I ever meet the man I will punch him in the face for this because Johnny is singing his songs in 'Sweeney Todd' so he totally could have done it *shakes fist at John Waters*
But I'll tell you what's not disappointing - I just noticed I have a custom tittie. weeeeeee! Awesome.

Hey, I'm Paula. I also go by krazichickie at the Local 83. I've been a member there for over a year and lurk there pretty much everyday. I've only recently started to post there on a regular basis, mostly in the concert downloads thread, but I'm trying to be a little more social. I found out that this is where all the cool people are hanging out, so I've been lurking here a bit, too and actually got accepted

Hello Susan! Welcome to the Anti-Local 83 Listener's Union. I don't know that we actually listen to John Mayer so much, but we did at some point in the game and well, here we are.
My name is Pants. Some people call me Nancy, but I prefer Pants or NP. Sometimes I will respond to Pimp but that's a looong story. I've been posting here since I was 12. No I'm way older than that. I'm well past my prime and into being overcooked to be honest with you. However, I've met some great people here and we enjoy a giggle or two. I post mainly on Hoes. I rarely post pictures of myself in public forums because I'm too damn hot. I'm married and have one son. His name is Little Pants! He's 5 and three quarters! I'm a stay at home Mom, a really bad driver and I kick ass at rapping. I like to write letters to John Mayer that are incredible stupid and silly. I hope they don't offend you, but I can't help myself really. It's a sickness. I live in Canada. I do not own a dog. I should really. Most people here do, but I don't. I did, but it died. My dog died of cancer. She had pancreatic cancer. Man oh man we tried to save her. We spent well over 5 large CDN, but in the end we put her to rest. Odd thing is my cousin's husband is a mortician. Like for dead PEOPLE. I called him up to go get my deceased dog and cremate her. He did it so nicely for me. It was odd though because I wonder if the next person in there knew there was doggie dust lingering? I mean they can't get ALLLL the bits can they? It wouldn't bother me any, but you know how some people are. At any rate, I have her in a wee urn. I have a wee sheltie Christmas ornament that was given to me by one of my students. She died at 27 from bone cancer. Want to be my friend? I'm really uplifting. And yes, I did hit John Mayer with my scooter but that's a story for another day. Happy New Year! P |
