Go to thrift shores. You can find all kinds of exercise stuff that people no longer want for one reason or another. Most people buy it and never use it. Walmart also has exercise bikes for $88 and treadmills for under $200.

I sadly had to get ride of my treadmill when I moved into my new house because it didn't fit anywhere. Thankfully I can take Sadie (my ridiculously rotund
Beagle) for walks now that we are living in town to replace the lost exercise equipment.

I wore a suit to my interview today that had previously been too small. So that's good. However, I cannot say that I am a size 4, Jelly.

how are we all doing with our goals?
my weight loss has plateaued since i had to stop exercising nearly altogether. however, i did get a sample inhaler at the doctor this morning and we're going to see if it helps. if it does, it's exercise-induced asthma (like i had thought). if not, we have to do further testing. f-u-n. i am eating much better though. i think my sweet tooth is disappearing, which is helping a lot. |

I've been doing horrible the past few weeks. Totally off the wagon and feeling guilty as hell about it. I need to climb back on and get militant again so
that I can get the second half of my weight off.

I've lost 20.6 lbs. (as of Monday) and am down a jeans size. It's easy to get off the wagon, but all the compliments I've gotten are keeping me
going. My upcoming trip could be a real test though...

I saw the doctor last week for bronchitis (because it was mucking up my otherwise non-issue asthma) and he told me that I am down 10 lbs since I saw him just
before Christmas. It was over my Christmas break that I started walking & I gave up fast food for my NY resolution. I have tried to eat healthier too.
Apparently it is working. I have tried not to weigh myself too much, because I think it just discourages me & it always seems like my doctor's scales
weigh me heavier than mine do. I was pleased to see that mine now matches his & that my weight loss was real. 10 lbs in 3 months isn't nearly what I
could probably have lost on WW, but I am happy that it has come off without joining any programs. I think if I am going to lose significant weight though, I
would have to join WW to keep me on track & help me keep better records of what I eat.
I heard from my asthma consultant with my insurance company that my insurance will cover part of my membership fees if I join WW. She didn't know the specifics & I haven't called about it yet. Does anyone here use their insurance to cover part of the fees? If so, do you know how much it covers?

reading this thread is really inspiring. I've been on the 5 factor plan for about two and a half years, and though its hard at times. it has paid off. For
anyone who is struggling getting into a routine, just stick it out and over time it becomes more routine and easier to continue everyday. Good luck to everyone
trying to live better!

Micah and Kelly---great job!
I've been waaay off the plan and not very happy with myself for that. I've been eating way too much junk to deal with stress at work. At least I know WW is something that really does work for me! That gives me hope.

Ok. Today is the day I get back on the wagon. I've gained five pounds since falling way off course and it's time to get that back off and get back to
work on losing the second half of my weight so that I can get back to being me.

I had lost 17 pounds at my lowest point. Today i was up about 3, but i suspect a lot of that is water weight.

I went to the gym tonight and walked and weighed myself. I'm up four pounds from my lowest point. Now I'm going to go and add up my points for the day.
Micah---you've really done a great job with this! Brenda
