I got gas two weekends ago for $2.77, which at the time, I thought was a lot. Gas now is $3.35 here!
WHAT THE HELLLLLLLLL! What are the prices round the country, just so I can get more and more pissed off about how badly we are getting ripped off in CA. -Marianne

Yesterday I paid 2.99.....at Costco! You know it's bad when it's nearly 3.00 a gallon at Costco. I saw a Chevron sign on the news though and it's 3.35 in downtown Sacramento. It's disgusting.

$2.39 here in Southwest VA! And you better believe we're bitching about here too. We were under $2.00 a couple weeks ago.

I was thinking it wasn't that bad. It's 2.29 here and the most I paid for it from MO to ATL was 2.6something and that was because IL has a pretty large tax on gas. Even in ATL it was about 2.43.
I guess the only thing that stops me from going insane is knowing that even if gas were to drop .20 a gallon, it would only save me a couple of bucks when I filled up. Plus, hubby is asst. manager at gas station right now (hey! stop it! It put him through college and grad school!) and they rag on him all day about it. If it would drop to were it was when I was a senior in high school, I might piss my pants. I remember it going as low as .75/gal then. Because I'm getting ooooollllldddd, kids.    |

It was around 2.40 today in Houston. However, I don't see why we had to jump 40 cents a gallon in the last month or two. Geez.

When I complain about gas prices Simon always reminds me that in England it is about 94p/litre. 94p is about $2. There are approximately 3.8 litres per gallon.
Yep. That means gas in England is $7.60 a gallon! Granted that doesn't make me feel any better paying $2.50/gallon here, but I don't really have a way around it so I have to suck it up. PS--I always find this interesting. |

Gas in the northern part of Michigan is hovering around $2.68 a gallon. Last weekend it was around $2.50 but has yet to go back down.

$3.07 today in SOBE because of Ultra Music Festival and the Miami Winter Music Conference. As soon as you're out of Miami it drops to 2.63. Baaaaastards.

Gas up here is $2.75 a gallon in Santa Fe, we are always a little more than the bigger cities. I have to use premium in my car. Last summer prices were around 3.45 a gallon.
Btw i have family in Germany where it equates to about $6.00 a liter. So its going to be a long hot summer.

$3.05 is the lowest you can get near me, and that's driving almost 10 miles out of the way so it isn't even worth it.
