Micah, I'm confused with your "super unleaded" and "unleaded" terms. Is that the same as "regular" and "midgrade?"

They had 2 gas stations that were having a little price war it went down to 1.95 over the weekend. If only it was close to me.

I have no idea what midgrade is. Unleaded is just regular unleaded. Super unleaded is higher octane and includes ethanol. I don't know how to explain the
differences otherwise.

Usually regular is 87 octane, midgrade or super unleaded is 89 octane, and then premium unleaded is 93 octane.
I saw $2.99 on my way home from the airport on Sunday. It was $2.76 in Plainfeild IN on Friday though.

Gotcha. I've just never referred to them as unleaded or super unleaded. Must be a regional thing.

It's possible.

I just go by what the sign says. All the stations list regular unleaded, super unleaded and premium. *shrug* For the record, I've never used premium fuel.
In fact, my Neon was not fond of super unleaded, so I usually went with regular unleaded, which sucked because it was always at least five cents more
expensive.

Sweet. I am seeing under $3 here as well. I guess the gas in my containers, which were filled during the hurricane, have decreased in value.

we are still at $2.70 here in northern Michigan, but we tend to be the last to see any decreases in gas prices that the rest of the midwest sees.

I don't know why, but I always thought you lived in the Royal Oak/Troy/Birmingham area. How are the fall colors up where you are?

Oh no. I'm out in the middle of nowhere. The fall colors are AMAZING this year. I can't remember the last time they were this vibrant. I'm actually
planning to go out later today to take some pictures before the leaves have all fallen.
