I'm glad we made the trip. The drive was not bad at all. Only got a little funky when I was trying to find my hotel. After that we just took cabs & the drive out was not bad. Glad Cambridge was good too. I can't wait for Glassjaw Boxer either. I love that you guys are on the DVD. I need to look for you. One of my VA girls, Maggie, was one of the middle school dancers. I was too late jumping on the SK6ERS bandwagon to get invited to that show. Sigh. Maybe next time. Jelly (still have to call you that on this thread anyway) - That screamer girl was driving me crazy all night. "You're HOTT!" She was either completely drunk or a complete loser. I thought it was hilarious when she yelled "You're HOTT" and someone yelled back, "He's married." Made me laugh. I have both shows on CD if you want a copy. Kelly

I was looking forward to Wertz and McLaughlin but, as much as I hate to admit it, I enjoyed the Sixers' set much more than either of theirs (even though everyone really was great). The last time I walked away that happy from seeing someone I wasn't familar with was Mayer. They were so much fun live and they were trying so hard to get the crowd into it. They all decided to get in the middle of the club and I was right up there almost being pushed into the band and afraid Stephen would hit me with his guitar. I have to say one of the coolest experiences at Newbys I've had. The highlight was their tribute to Dirty Dancing including that famous lift. I got to talk to Stephen some after the show. Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Nah, they haven't perfected it at all. It's just luck of the draw. I've seen them do the lift twice. The first one was flawless. The second time I was sure Stephen & Kit were both going to smash into their equipment & I'm pretty sure I saw at least half of Stephen's ass when Kit tried to avoid previously mentioned equipment. It was pretty much the most hilarious thing I've ever seen. Jelly, back me up on this one. I'll see if I can find a picture later. It actually makes me giddy when I read about new people seeing them and loving them. Of course, I'd be shocked if people saw them and just came out saying "eh, they were alright." Glad you enjoyed it. Only 2 1/2 weeks until my next shows. I can hardly stand it. Oooh. Can I also just mention how normal Stephen's hair looks again? It hasn't looked that normal since the first time I saw them. Way to go finding a good stylist Stephen! Kelly

I went up to Stephen after the show and told him they were the best damn band I've seen in a looonnnggg time, which is true. He said it took them a while to warm the crowd up. I accidently stepped on his feet quit a few times because he was dragging me up towards the merch table from the middle of the club so that we could talk and take a pic. I kept apologizing. Oh, they gave 100% of their merch proceeds to St. Jude which we thought was so sweet of them.
