Mad love for him. I've heard the name for a couple years now but saw him live for the first time Tuesday night. His piano playing was so invigorating. And
the music was just beauteous!

Um, "Places I Already Know" was my favorite song for waaaay too long. I listened to it on repeat forever. I bought all of his albums. Good stuff. I like that kid!

I'm not 100%, but I'm pretty fucking sure that this is the guy that Jovanna gave a ride to or from Florida or something like that and he made them listen to his music the entire way. Haha.

Saw Jonnn last night. Seriously, he's going to be HUGE. In about a year, he'll explode... I hope. I've been to the venue that the show was at a ton of times, and I have NEVER seen it this packed. There were so many people. And he was in such a good mood. Awesome show.

God dammit! I hate how all these people that I love are gaining popularity. I mean, I like that it's good for their careers and whatnot, but it makes it that much more difficult and a pain in the ass to see them live.
I've seen Jamie Cullum 5 times and never had it not be GA. He's playing 2 shows with the LA Philharmonic at the Hollywood fucking Bowl this week. Um, suck much? Yeah. It'll be the first time I'll have to watch him through a Jumbotron. I don't want to lose Jon to the crowd. Bleah. Princess Kelly

I dunno... usually, I absolutely HATE to see bands or artists that I love get big. But in Jon's case, he deserves it. He's a phenomenal pianist and his voice was so on last night that I think it'd be really cool to see him get bigger. I'd be happy for him.

He's already bigger than he was just a few months ago. When I saw him with Wertz/the Sixers no one really seemed to know jack shit about him. I, however, knew all of his music and none of the Sixers' stuff and felt like an outcast, haha. The major label is pimping him out. My alma mater got "Indiana" as a promo to review for the newspaper (which I did). THAT tells me something right there.

Boyfrienddddddd.
I saw him open for Kelly Clarkson tonight. I love him I love him I love him. He does well in big venues with better acoustics. I wasn't really into the idea of him on a big stage, but it works for him. He seemed really, really excited. I went out to say hi after his set... I brought an old postcard that I had with a picture of him on it from like 1999... he looked like an 11 year old boy. I showed it to him and he just started laughing and told me that I need to throw it away. Then stood there shaking his head at the picture for a good 5 minutes. And my favorite part. He and his wife walked to the bus before the show from a restaurant... with their arms around each other. Cutest couple ever. They need to have kids ASAP. |
